Purpose and Objectives of ICHS

Next year 2026, we shall focus on the following;

Understanding of Integrated health and social care (IHSC)
  • Interdisciplinary Insight: Foster collaboration between healthcare and social work professionals, enhancing the understanding of Integrated care as a multidimensional construct of Healthcare and Social work.
Practical application of Integrated Health and Social Care
  • Workforce Challenges: Establish exposure of challenges faced by typical healthcare and social care providers from a Canadian perspective
  • Promoting Health Equity:  Delve into the socio-economic and cultural factors impacting health disparities and discuss strategies for achieving health equity from Global North and South with focus on Health in a social perspective.

Target Audience

The conference welcomes participation from International and Local health care and social work professionals, Agencies, researchers, policymakers, Students, educators, and advocates in the fields of healthcare and social work. It offers a unique opportunity for cross-disciplinary collaboration and networking.
