Balitumye Felix, is an accomplished ICT 4 Development specialist with a foundation Bachelor’s Degree in computer Science from Makerere University and currently a student of Master’s Degree in Public Health Informatics from Makerere University School of Public Health.
He has mentored and coached over 150 young professionals in the tech sphere through an annual internship & apprentice program under Computing Palace Technologies an ICT firm based in Kampala Uganda, he has served as consultant on both national and international projects with different organizations, Felix has extensive knowledge, experience and competency in multimedia, software engineering and the field of Health informatics after having served in various capacities as a national trainer on some health systems these including DHIS2, Mtrac,eCHIS, Family Health, GO Data, Uganda EMR, Open MRS with a niche in empowering open source technologies for Health sector transformation, his research is in the area of Tele-health with focus on transforming health service delivery in School Based Health Facilities in Uganda, currently he serves on the board of directors for Burundi Education Mission and also director Media and I.T under Exploits Fellowship.
He has been an international speaker on both national and international events among these include the Sacramento Uganda Symposium and Burundi Education Mission Symposium 2022 and 2023, we are proud to have him as one of our confirmed Speakers
