Cibangu Muya -Jeanpie is a Congolese who lives in Lusaka Zambia for years, Resident citizen in Zambia working as a Registrar (General Medical Officer) at Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital.
With experience in clinic, He has passion for sharing knowledge to others, that rose the desire of teaching medicine to different levels such as, medical students at the university and leading major wards round with junior’s medicals, training of clinical officers and nurses at the hospital and different private universities in Lusaka.
He is currently part-time lecturer at Eden University in Lusaka.
With the same strong sprit of leadership, this had led to be given some administrative responsibilities such as head of unit in Surgery department at Levy Mwanawasa UTH.
Trained as a General surgeon with quiet number of experiences in theatre and capacities of operating and taking good care of patients in post-operative care this couldn’t limit him to go for different training in surgery.
During COVID 19 period, Dr Muya played a very big role in training the population and taking care of emergency in different field in medicine by playing a role of a general medical practitioner which pushed him to do different training under Global heath.
Dr. Muya is also participating in the current Universal health care program raised by the Congolese Government.
With ambitions of seeing and educating the population on the health care promotion, Dr MUYA is pursuing a Master’s in public health at Texila American University currently collecting data for the research.
